TACUSPA’s Graduate Student Institute is designed for current and aspiring graduate students in Higher Education or Student Affairs. This institute provides a welcoming space for graduate students to connect, learn, and grow professionally alongside peers who are navigating similar academic and professional paths. Participants will engage in an interactive CliftonStrengths session focused on applying their strengths to both academic and career goals. A working lunch with attendees from all TACUSPA Institutes and facilitators will continue the strengths-based discussion. The afternoon will guide participants in creating a personalized professional development plan, including a professional philosophy. The day concludes with an overview of TACUSPA resources and opportunities. The institute serves as a meaningful bridge between classroom knowledge and the dynamic realities of the profession. Graduate students will leave the experience feeling more confident, connected, and prepared to take the next steps in their Student Affairs journey.
