The TACUSPA Conference Graduate Student Scholarship empowers full-time graduate students to engage in professional development without the financial strain. This scholarship supports future leaders in student affairs by providing access to the annual conference, encouraging networking, and promoting involvement in the TACUSPA community. 

The TACUSPA Foundation annually sponsors 10 scholarships for graduate students to attend the TACUSPA Conference by covering the cost of registration. We are excited to be hosting the 2025 TACUSPA Annual Conference in Houston, TX on October 1-3, 2025. For more information, visit the conference website at Conference 2025.

This year’s conference is especially exciting as we celebrate TACUSPA’s centennial with the theme Centennial Connections: a Bridge to Innovation! Each scholarship recipient will be recognized during the annual event. This scholarship aims to support and inspire graduate students to stay engaged with TACUSPA in ways that are meaningful to them—whether by volunteering at the conference, joining a committee, participating in the Graduate Student Case Study, or contributing to the association’s continued growth and innovation.

We strongly encourages any current TACUSPA full-time graduate student members to apply for the Conference Graduate Student Scholarship. The application requires:

• A letter of recommendation from a faculty member or supervisor
• Your resume
• A Professional Statement of Interest
  

Even if you have already paid for the conference, you are still eligible to receive the scholarship. We will work with you to be reimbursed.

The scholarship application deadline is July 31, 2025. The scholarship committee will review all applications and applicants will be notified by August 8, 2025 of their status.
