TACUSPA President's Message TACUSPA colleagues and friends, Spring is here! It's hard to believe so much time has already passed, but here we doing our best to prepare and thrive in what feels like three different versions of time, spring, summer, and fall. Like you, TACUSPA is experiencing the same transformation as we imagine, strategize, and prepare for the future. Guided by our strategic plan, we've made progress on all of our strategic goals and have been busy preparing for an incredible conference experience this October that will provide in-person and virtual options for engagement. In addition to the work that is visible, the Board has also been working hard to develop new initiatives that will take time to develop but will produce many opportunities for TACUSPA for current and future members alike. It seems there's never a shortage of things to do, ideas to explore, or processes to tinker with, but we must never forget to remain connected to the core values that keep us connected and grounded to our greater purpose. As challenging as the spring semester can be, it is also the season of new opportunities so remain open to things unseen and remind yourself of your value. TACUSPA's momentum continues and we look forward to strengthening our relationship with you. We remain hopeful that this October we'll have an opportunity to gather, in-person and virtually, reconnect, and reenergize with keynote speakers and breakout sessions supporting this year's conference theme, Influence and Impact: Strategies to Accelerate Systemic Change within the Profession and Beyond. However, we're much more than an annual conference so don't forget to renew your membership and connect with us on social media to stay up to date! With thanks! ASR Dr. Ashley Spicer-Runnels |
