Identifying and Serving an Invisible Student Population: Foster Care Alumni

Foster care alumni, many times an invisible student population on college and university campuses, have many on- and off- campus support systems and resources to assist in their success. Participants in this webinar will learn ways to identify foster care alumni and needed services, the role of legislatively-mandated foster care liaisons, and the challenges of serving this population. The Texas tuition and fee waiver, Education and Training Voucher, Scholarships, Supervised Independent Living, Medicaid for Transitioning Foster Care Youth, and other benefits will also be addressed.
