At this year’s Mid-Manager’s Institute, we are thrilled to have three national leaders on hand to address these very important and timely topics. Dr. Richard Walker, Vice Chancellor/Vice President for Student Affairs & Enrollment Services at the University of Houston, will present on planning and assessment. Dr. Gage Paine, Senior Consultant at Keeling and Associates, will present on risk management issues. Lastly, Sam Gonzales, Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Texas at San Antonio, will present on higher education finances. All three presenters will focus on decision making frameworks and competencies that mid-managers can use to be successful and promote career advancement.

In addition to our great presenters, participants will complete a career mapping exercise, meet other mid-managers from across the state of Texas, and engage in thoughtful and provoking discussions.
