Provide leadership in the development and implementation of student engagement and retention programs. Provide support and guidance to Student Engagement units (Campus Activities & Leadership and Service).
Partial Essential Functions: Facilitate the management of student organizations, event requests, and policy interpretation. Develop the University ropes course and oversee use and operations by University and non-University entities. Provide support, oversight, and leadership to programs that relate to departmental initiatives, retention efforts, and collaboration with other department to further the mission and goals of the University and the Division. This includes but not limited to new student convocation, homecoming, patriot days, welcome weeks, student engagement platform operations, and Patriot Pantry oversight. Supervise and support departmental programs and staff. Perform administrative tasks, assists with strategic planning, departmental assessment and evaluation of programs. Provide marketing and conduct departmental outreach regarding programs and initiatives.
