Welcome to the Assessment and Evaluation Community of Practice!
There are many reasons to focus on assessment and evaluation in student affairs such as improving our programs and services to meet student needs, cultivating and gauging student learning, demonstrating the effective use of resources and funds, and meeting reporting and regulatory requirements. But, how are these things impacted by our residency in Texas? This Community of Practice is designed to give professionals an opportunity to collaborate to address key concepts in assessment and evaluation, and to better understand how state initiatives, accreditation emphases, and legislative decisions, for example, shape our focus.
